Reflection of the writing and editing process

So far, I have learnt how to summarize an article, how to write a reader response, how to write a problem solving essay, followed by some writing skills such as grammars,in text citations, references and so on. After learning all those skills, I can support my ideas better and minimize the grammar errors in an essay now, my understandings of the structure of academic writing has also improved a lot. However, there are still some unsolved problems in my writing skills. In my essay, there are always no connections between ideas because I am not good at using conjunctions between sentences. Further more, Since English is not my first language, my vocabulary is very small, this brings me a lot of limitations when I am trying to expressing my thoughts. So I still have a lot things to improve on academic writings. And I will try to achieve them in the following weeks.

For all the comments on the summary and reader response, I have made changes accordingly. But some of the changes I made are not really confident. One reason is because I don't really understand the comment, the other reason is I understand the comment, but I don't know how to make the changes. Therefore, besides the audio and written feedback, a face to face discussion may be more effective if time permits.

The grades I rate for the content, organization and language of the reader response draft 2 are b, c and b.The real marks for them are 21/30, 12/30 and 25/40 respectively. The real results and my own evaluation results are similar. However, I think I would be able to get more marks on the language if I had avoided all the careless mistakes on grammars.

At last, The audio and written feedback are good, and it will indeed help me if other courses use the same way as well.
